Tailor-made group weekends in Slovakia for those with a sense of adventure!

Activities

Whether you are looking to organise a stag weekend, adventure holiday, corporate event or football tour, Sixpack Travel can arrange a wide range of activities for you, including the following, subject to seasonal availability:
karting action in Bratislava

Karting

Sessions are arranged so that six drivers at a time compete to obtain the fastest lap. Times are electronically monitored and each session lasts 10 minutes and each person will get a minimum of three races. Alternatively team relay races can be arranged with each team member required to complete an allotted number of laps. (Prizes can be arranged for the best and worst drivers if required). After one hour of racing you'll be surprisingly tired and ready for some beers in the evening.

White Water Rafting

For the real action heroes, Sixpack Travel can organise white water rafting at the Slovakian national water sports centre, just outside of Bratislava. This centre is purposely built for water sports such as white water rafting and is credited with bringing home Slovakia's gold Olympic medal for kayaking. You will be rafting for two to three hours and food and drinks can be provided.

Several venues just outside Bratislava offer you a choice for your “Theatre of War”. Urban warfare can be undertaken in a derelict office complex or an old industrial unit, whereas jungle warfare can be arranged in the woods. At all venues, a variety of games can be arranged for the group. These include:

·         Steal the Flag - Two teams and two flags. Steal the other team's flag and get it back to your base before they do the same to you.

·         Attack and Defend - One team defends the base, while the other team attacks.

·         Last man standing – Teams fight to the death. The team with the “last man standing” is the winner.

·         Hunt the stag - The stag is given a one-minute head start and granted unlimited paintballs and invincibility. The rest of the group is given limited paintballs and mortality. Hunt him down and mercilessly splatter him with paint. (Note: The stag may be required to wear a special costume and shooting practice targets may be attached to his chest and back.)

Football

A variety of football activities are available in Bratislava. These include:

  • Watching live Premiership games in a local bar.

  • Attending a professional football match of a Slovak premiership club on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

  • Playing a friendly football match against a local amateur football team (for groups larger than 12 people).

For smaller groups (4-6 people) we can arrange off-road quad biking on the outskirts of Bratislava.

Tour to  Devin Castle

If you’d rather relax and do something a bit less strenuous, we are able to offer a 2-3 hour boat trip to the historic castle of Devin (9km northwest of Bratislava).

These historic ruins are a symbol of Slovak National identity and are located at the point where the Danube and Morava rivers converge. The castle perches impressively on the rock outcrop and has been strategically important for more than 1,000 years. The gravity defying towers afford great views into Austria and the surrounding area and the museum provides an insight in Slovak history and their national identity.

The tour includes a return boat trip, entrance to the castle, use of an English speaking guide and a couple of drinks while on board the boat. Depending on the size of your group, it can be arranged for you to be taken to Devin on a private charter.
